Mika Sake Global develops its African market activities through the Sake Mom Africa brand. Through Sake Mom Africa, we conduct market validation, develop local partnerships, engage with hospitality and beverage professionals and explore commercially viable routes to market.
Founder & Managing Director
Mika Eoka
Following a 20-year career in investment banking, Mika Eoka relocated to Myanmar in 2013, where she led cultural and market-development activities until 2018.
From 2019 to 2021, she worked with the Overseas Operations Group of the Japan Sake and Shochu Makers Association.
She began developing the Indian market in 2020 and has since supported exports through seven importers, involving more than 30 products across multiple Indian states.
As a WSET Sake Educator, she has educated more than 100 WSET-qualified professionals and provides training to over 500 beverage and hospitality professionals annually.
She serves as the Export Coordinator for Alcoholic Beverages in India for the National Tax Agency of Japan for FY2025 and FY2026.
